Through journaling, poetry, dance & abhinaya (storytelling in Odissi dance) we will explore the feminine archetype, Mirabhai. The unique thing about this workshop is that you do not need to have any previous dance/movement experience. It is open to all women who want to move deeper in a safe, meaningful and joyful way, or for any interested in exploring movement with new perspectives.

Let’s embody Mirabhai and her devotion to her beloved Krishna within this sacred container. 

 

We will begin with a journaling practice, followed by a nourishing warm up, gentle abhinaya & dancing that allows us to deepen our understanding of Mirabhai. Ending our session with a sharing circle and tea. 

 

• Please dress comfortably to move.
